Business Problem
Web Designers had a complicated process to follow to create websites for the business. That process would vary in large and small ways depending on the OEM, type of site, and addon that was purchased.
Existing instructions were severely out of date and did not account for all the variables.
My Solution
I wrote comprehensive, detailed work instructions and custom-coded them with JavaScript/jQuery to dynamically update depending on the OEM, type of product, and addon the web designer selected.
I thoroughly commented the code so that any Web Designer could update it.
Results
There was a significant reduction in training time and errors in new hires after the launch of these instructions.
