About This Project

Business Problem
The company was switching from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning. This would heavily impact a significant number of people in the business. Training was one of the pieces needed to support this transition.

My Solution
I created an introductory video to set expectations and generate excitement before the launch of the tool
I thoroughly documented changes to the audience's daily process via both text using internal knowledge base as well as 70 video instructions (3 minutes or less) to appeal to different preferences for consuming the information
I organized 16 Live virtual demos and Q&A sessions. These sessions were hosted at times that accomodate various learner timezones and roles. These sessions were delivered immediately before and after the rollout of the new tool.
At least one SME was available at all times to monitor a community designed for questions and support.
Office hours were frequently hosted by SMEs to answer questions and identify issues

Results
After two months post-launch:
Videos were played 5,540 times.
Average video rating: 4.9/5.
Knowledge base pages were viewed 7,022 times.
650 people attended the 16 live virtual demos.
Office hours and live support were provided and monitored frequently for all global timezones.
High anecdoctal praise, including an observation that this solution should be the gold standard for the company's future tool migrations.
